November Chorale rehearsals will be Monday Nov. 5, 12, and 26. Attendance is REQUIRED. Please plan ahead. Women 6:30-8:00pm, Men 8:00-9:30pm
Pre Area- Only for All Region participants- Information will be handed out for the audition. Please be ready for your mock audition with Snow on Tuesday/Wednesday (nov. 6/7)
Poinsettias should be delivered the Week after Thanksgiving break. Please watch this website and your Remind texts to be ready for that delivery.
October holds many choir events. if you haven't already, sign up for the REMIND testing system to stay updated!!
Chorale Rehearsals will be 6:30-9:30 in the choir room October 1 and 29. These are MANDATORY!! Send Mr. Algate an email if you cannot make these rehearsals. It will effect your grade.
Chicago Trip- Deposits Due October 4- (*UPDATE*- we are still accepting deposits)
We still have seats available and we NEED CHAPERONES!! Talk to a director for more information
Fundraiser delivery- Please be prepared to pick up your refrigerated items from the century resources fundraiser on Thursday, Oct. 11. We will receive the truck before 1:30pm. You are welcome to come by after then and pick up these items. Remember, we do not have a place to store them for you, so these need to be taken home at the end of the day.
FALL CONCERT- 7pm- October 15 in the MHS Auditorium. Please wear your choir
t-shirt and nice jeans with closed toe-shoes. If you have not yet paid your choir fee, you will not receive a t-shirt, and therefore cannot perform. Please take care of those fees asap.

The Handbook can be found online this year, so be sure you read through it and contact a director with any questions.
Please sign the contract and pay your $25 Choir fee by August 27.
All Region Auditions are Sept. 28, so please get started on your music soon!

Tickets are on Sale NOW for High School Musical. Contact a director for purchase, cash or check only. Tickets are $10. You can also purchase from your student, or at the door.
Tickets are on sale now for the choir banquet, May 23 @ Spirit Ranch, 6:30pm. Tickets for banquet include dinner and a dance. There will be a brief student recognition ceremony as well. Tickets are $20 per person.
BRING BACK YOUR UNIFORMS- if you haven't, I have submitted your name and it has gone on record as a fine. When you bring it back we can cancel the fine.

The Performance Dates for High School Musical have been set. All performances are in the Monterey High School Auditorium.

Use this link to see the Rehearsal Schedule for LEADS and for the dress rehearsals. All Rehearsals will be in the choir room or the auditorium.
If you still have your concert attire, you have until Tuesday, April 10 to turn it into a director. If you miss the deadline, you will be expected to get it dry-cleaned at your expense. Bring them into the choir room, put on appropriate rack and check in with a director. Please label your uniform with your name.

UIL Contest will be on Tuesday; April 3, 2018 at Estacado High School. The students would love to see you there to support them! Parents are welcome to observe the Stage and Sight-reading portions, however, no video or recordings of any kind are allowed in the sight reading room. Here's the link to the schedule for the day.

Our Spring Preview Concert will be the Wednesday after we return from Spring Break. Please find your concert attire and try it on before spring break so that we can make changes if needed. Let Mrs. Snow know if you have issues. Concert Choirs will need to find your Choir shirt and a clean pair of jeans to perform in. Please let a director know if you need a shirt.
Concert is in the MHS Auditorium at 7pm.
